Twobble Kingdom (Part 2)
‘- and you are now currently sat on the surface of Twobble Kingdom,’ he explained. Jack Kingford had thousands of questions rushing round his head like a pack of wolves chasing a rabbit. The first one that came out however was, “How do you know my name?” “Your dear cat here has been telling me many things about you,” Chipunpip replied. Holding out his fluffy right arm, none other than the family cat jumped onto his arm. “An intelligent being indeed,” he said. And as if by magic, the cat cleared its through and explained “A Draco-Cattus has other things in life to do than to be a cat purring all day long.” “What on Earth- is a Draco-Cattus?” “Two things. First, we aren’t on Earth. Second, a Draco-Cattus is this-” on that final word, the cat he used to see transformed into a humongous, green-eyed, black skinned, terrifying dragon. It had teeth-white horns the size of a small desk and a very lengthy tail with smaller horns of its own! But suddenly, lurid blue fumes surrounded the dragon, circling it almost. They suddenly shrank down to the size of a cat, but instead of seeing the cat again, an olive-green, slender lizard appeared with a snake-like tongue. It blinked, staring at him for a moment, before another puff of lurid fumes appeared, this time yellow. A small, beige cat identical to the one he new was now licking its left paw as if nothing had ever happened. His pale-pink tongue stopped mid lick as if it had seen something interesting. It then darted of to a nearby palm tree, then yelling at something. “Rather interesting those creatures, aren’t they?” Chipunpip inquired. Jack had completely forgotten he was even there. Umm, well they are rather fascinating, but what would happen if one turned against you? Wouldn’t they be rather-” he asked lost for words. “Wouldn’t they be really dangerous?” “Oh Jack, you’re very inquisitive, just like your uncle…” Chipunpip said admiring Jack. “M-my Uncle?” Jack Kingford said very shocked to here it. “But my Uncle’s d-dead, he died about 13 years ago, a few months before I was born…” “Your Uncle was also one of few who has travelled to our world. A true legend he was; courageous, a great leader and a huge risk taker. He had many skills others considered unnatural. He could tame snakes, speak to many animals like fish, eagles, even kangaroos and he could actually control the wind, believe it or not. The loss of him was not only heart-breaking, but also a huge blow for us, our civilisation died out without him…” ©E. Ferrier stories 2020

Twobble Kingdom (Part 1)
Jack Kingford had always been the most unpopular kid at school. And at home. He was just one of those people that everyone ignores but is usually kind. He would mind his own business the whole day from dawn until dusk. Little did he know that was about to change; his whole life would flip completely upside down. And it all started at the start of yet another school day… “Jack! Jack! Get your bum moving it’s gone well past 7:30! And hurry up; you haven’t even brushed your teeth yet!” His mum called from outside his room. Jack however always did as he was told. He had a shower, brushed his teeth and off he went to have breakfast. As usual, he had his morning attack from the family cat, who always seemed to be more violent towards Jack than anyone else, and poured himself some cornflakes. “Jack! My goodness! What the crickeys have you done to your hair?” He only needed to say two words. “The Cat.” Sometimes, Jack thought this cat was some sort of secret Sith cat, or a hired terrorist. Wolfing down his cereal, he got up and searched straight away for his phone, in which he had two broken by ‘The Cat’. Before getting ready to leave, something didn’t seem right. He hadn’t seen the cat for 15 minutes and usually its claws were stuck to him. Straight away, he went searching for the cat. After 2 minutes of searching, he saw in the corner of his eye a strange blue light coming from a blank wall. He touched it, curious of his new discovery. And as if by magic a long, blue, rotating tube going inside the wall opened up. It was definitely long enough to have gone into the second room. Knowing he shouldn’t be doing what he was, he stepped inside the tube which seemed to small for him to stand in. He was then thrown onto his waist and was travelling into the blue, rotating, twisting tube like he was on a very abnormal slide. After about a minute or two of twisting and turning, he finally found the end of the tube and was dumped onto fresh, soft grass. He opened his flickering eyes to see a vague forest like area. Puzzled, he sat bolt-right up. “Welcome, Jack Kingford,” said a small, soft voice. He spun around to face a small, fluffy creature with soft, chestnut fur. “You are one of few who have travelled to our world from planet Earth,” he informed Jack. “My name is Chipunpip and you are now currently sat on the surface of Twobble Kingdom,” he explained. ©E.
